I like to do a lot of different things, some of which you can see on this website. I’m from Vermont and I graduated from Middlebury College with a B.A. in Spanish, with stops at University of Guadalajara (México) and Dartmouth College to study international stuff and music. By day, I’m an Editor for Supercompressor, and I used to work for Reviewed.com a division of USA Today, where I wrote about consumer products and edited a science blog.
In my spare time, I write freelance stuff about cycling, money, other sports, culture, books, and more. I also sometimes help out with video editing/cinematography, ad copy, translation (Spanish to English, English to Spanish, and French to English), music needs (guitar/bass/arranging/sound mixing), art, photography, hair cutting, posing for paintings, pick-up basketball, track coaching, and bicycle maintenance.
I also use my years of experience rooting through my parents’ old Yardbirds records, formal studies of western classical music theory and history, 18 years of guitar playing, and impeccable taste to maintain a casual and slightly anonymous music blog, chronicling What The Kids Are Listening To. Investigate if your ears aren’t satisfied with their current sonic situation.
Also, do you like bookbinding, bookarts, letterpress or design? Of course you do. Check out my mother’s website.
